Leiston Surgery Foundation had its official launch on Saturday 4^th June 2022. 

The Leiston Surgery Foundation is a charity whose aims are to promote aspiration and achievement in the past and present pupils of Alde Valley Academy. We do this is by working with AVA to develop aspiration in younger pupils and then identify those who may wish to attend higher education; providing support, mentorship, work experience and then financial grants to help facilitate the process.

The Chairman of Trustees Sarah McLennan says 'We aim to offer  work experience, mentorship, and financial assistance as part of a package of support and we are delighted that our MP is offering her support for this venture'.
