Dr Noone is from Co. Mayo, Ireland, and moved to Dublin age seventeen to study Medicine in Trinity. After gaining her Honours degree at Trinity College, and on completion of an internship in St. James’s Hospital, Dublin, Dr Noone worked for almost two years in Australia. Dr Noone came home in 2013 and completed a further eighteen months training in Dublin working in the areas of psychiatry, elderly medicine and endocrinology.
Dr Noone started GP training in Ipswich in February 2015. She completed her training in February 2018 and has been working as a salaried GP since then.
Outside of work, Dr Noone has achieved Grade 8 in piano and has been awarded medals in both Irish and German for the highest mark in Ireland in her Junior Certificate exam. Dr Noone has also won the silver medal in the World Irish dancing Championships as well as the All Ireland, American National, Great Britain and Connacht titles.
Her main interests are sports, especially distance running and she spends a lot of her free time training. Dr Noone has won two marathons, many half- marathons and is currently training for the London and Berlin Marathons 2020. Dr Noone also enjoys reading and spending time with her family, dog and friends.
